My question is: can it go on the same line with -auto. I seem to get an error: %> ppp -alias -auto myisp %> destadr must be specified with -auto I have an ISP who gives me one IP#. I don't ever know the ISP host IP# though. So I have set ifaddr 0 xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx 255.255.255.0 add 0 0 HISADDR in the ppp.conf. It seems to work ok but I don't know if I can put both -auto and -alias on the same command line. Thanks for your suggestions. Alex
