Both POSIX and SUSv2 seem to assume a working understanding of how locales work. In particular, I'm trying to figure out how to discover what the current locale is within an application. If that seems like s atupid thing to want to do, assume that it's because I don't understand what's going on. :-) TIA Sheldon.
