I have used the stalbsd-2.0.0 drivers and compiled the kernel. I have run the mkdevnods script create the devices, and all appears OK. boot up messages show: ----------------------------------------- stl0 at 0x2a0 irq 10 on isa STALLION: cd1400 not responding, brd=0 panel=0 chip=0 STALLION: cd1400 not responding, brd=0 panel=0 chip=1 stl0: EC8/32-AT (driver version 1.0.0) unit=0 nrpanels=1 nrports=8 ------------------------------------------------- I have modems on these ports, which I try to access via 'cu' ---------------------------------------------- root@proxy# root@proxy# cu -l /dev/ttyE3 cu: open (/dev/ttyE3): Permission denied cu: /dev/ttyE3: Line in use root@proxy# root@proxy# ls -al /dev/ttyE3 crw-r--r-- 1 root wheel 72, 3 Dec 13 14:55 /dev/ttyE3 root@proxy# ----------------------------------------------- I have tried 'stlstats' as well and I get this..... ---------------------------------------- ERROR: ioctl(COM_GETPORTSTATS) failed, errno=-19 ------------------------------------------------ Any suggestions as to what may be wrong????
