Neither ecos nor redboot is part of FreeBSD.

Speaking of hardware - maybe the onboard reset is bad - the reset
impuls for the rm9200 needs to be very long.
But that is guessing, I just know the hardware, not your software.

Ask on a ecos list, or install FreeBSD if you insist asking on a
FreeBSD list.
