That's odd - I suspect your sound card and/or the audio driver.  My
AWE32 works just great with RealPlayer 3.0 and I use it all the time
(how else would I listen to KMUD, a local "alternative" radio station
broadcasting at all of 20 watts in its area and unreachable from here,
so we put it on the net using a FreeBSD box and RealServer 5.0 BETA).
