How do I check the smbd is running ? Where I type "/usr/sbin/smbd &" and " ps aux | grep smbd" , there is no such process is running . I used nmap -sT -sU 127.0.0.1 , still not able to detect samba daemon . So , how do I configure smbd in order to make it run ? Please advise .
