This 'netdump' kernel module link, based on limited research, seems to be a pretty clean effort: but I'm surpised that it's not a port, nor part of the distribution. Is anyone using this? Is there a better or more established way of accomplishing the same thing, in light of an eventual migration from 4.x to 5.x?
