(somethign i do wrong?) but '-j4' and standard make flags '-O -pipe' using DMA with one single eide drive and classic intel p200 makes world in about 2 hours 40 mins. that's about 20 mins faster. oh, why am i still only deploying 80% cpu time? mickey
