I am not an expert. I am just a newbie.
I think it means you don't have the gmake utility
You may want to install that one first.
do at the prompt % which gmake and see if it finds it.
either that or gmake's directory is not in your path
When I do which gmake I get:
$ which gmake
/usr/local/bin/gmake
(1L) LOCAL USER COMMANDS MAKE(1L)
NAME
make - GNU make utility to maintain groups of programs
SYNOPSIS
make [ -f makefile ] [ option ] ... target ...
...... etc
Thank You !
