Your bug report is essentially useless to us without that information, and I can further state that if you're trying to mix an IDE CDROM drive with a 2.1.x release of FreeBSD then you're probably wasting your time. IDE CDROM support did not solidify until the 2.2 branch was released and if you are not attempting this installation from that release branch, you need to get more up to date release media and try this again.
