From a pkg_info looks like freetype, freetype2, fontconfig, Xft, Xfree86-fontserver, and the various X fonts. Only other thing I have different to default is a .fonts directory with the windows ttf fonts in it. The mozilla problem may be totally unrelated to the fontconfig upgrade mind, it's just the only thing I can think of that has changed since the last time I started mozilla apart from the buildworld/kernel.
