Im not clear about the dev entries.. Could I say start out with an emtpy /dev directory, after rm all device entries in there.. and then do a MAKEDEV like below - as quoted from UPDATING.. To rebuild disk /dev entries ---------------------------- starting the following: For N in the list of disks MAKEDEV N # eg ad0 for M in the list of slices MAKEDEV NsMa # eg ad0s1a Tnx, rotan.
