Not a huge deal, but anything that makes it easy to publicise your PGP key is, IMHO, a good thing. 2. People submitting patches as attachments. It's much easier to pull out 3 different attachments from a message if they're separate attachments than it is to have to cut-n-paste out of the message body. There might be an argument for filtering out .exe files, and similar. Of course, these are the same mailing lists that *don't* filter out "subscribe" requests, and we get far more of those than we do problem attachments. So I think it's really a non-problem at the moment.
