We would like to clear all log files prior to running scanner software 
against FreeBSD in order to record new log entries. Does anyone have a list 
of the important logs to clear and the proper technique to use to clear 
these logs?

FYI...We are working on a Security FAQ that will correspond various error 
messages in the logs to know kacks.
