Did you ever find out why this was happening. I'm having the same problem. I can't seem to find anwsers on the website. I tired the mkfontdir thingy :-) that didn't work. Pevious question dated 01/26/97: Greetings, Does anyone have any idea what may cause the following message .... 'Warning: Unable to load any useable fontset" When starting certain X apps? ( ie: xperfmon++, xsysinfo, xftp, (moxftp) so far) ... I get this error message trying to run fvwm2. fvwm95 works but I can't get fvwm2 to work.
