Maybe the models aren't internally consistent; I can hardly see them making the original 288is as winmodems and then having the 336is as full-fledged modems. At any rate, to the original poster, I'd advise checking the chipset (and maybe calling Supra / Diamond and asking) to see if your modem is a winmodem. Regards, GReg -- Gregory S.
