I had a quick look at this and found ~7k lines of more or less linux-specific C code, along with 1.7MB of object files (interesting definition of "open source"), and of course no actual documentation of the hardware. So, while it is not entirely impossible that some fearless hacker will be able to do something with this, I don't think it is likely to be ported to FreeBSD anytime soon. Me? Nah... way too lazy & stupid.
