Only advice I have is make sure youre using the latest bios if youre planning on running any type of X on it. ;) Older bios did not allow for specifying amount of video ram in bios. (causing my husband and I to have to make a 845 patch for freebsd.) Only allowed 1mb. You could run X in 24bit if you liked looking at a 600x400 box in the middle of the screen. Hope that helps. :) Michelle -----Original Message----- >From: Stefan Bund <stefan.bund@gmail.com> >Sent: Nov 25, 2006 9:04 PM >To: freebsd-mobile@freebsd.org >Subject: Anyone running 6.1 on a Dell Inspiron 1100? > >I need to do a small test server on a Dell Inspiron 1100, running FreeBSD >6.1.
