Answer is NO, FreeBSD doesn't (as far as I know) have this option (yet).
I know that IBM's AIX, HPs HP/UX, and I think Sun's Solaris support =
Logical Volumes....
which are pretty interesting...you can increase their size, but you =
can't decrease it.
