Another problem is my development environment is 100% amd64. > I need to set up i386 environment first. :-( Just to clarify .. has there been some regression in i386 suspend/resume support in 8.0, or are you just talking about it on particular laptops? On my Thinkpad T23, at least, suspend/resume worked fine on 6.2 and 7.0 (after a couple of sysctl tweaks) but I haven't installed 7.2 on it yet. cheers, Ian
