Having a problem with my laptop (a Gateway 400sd4) and ACPI. Trying to load a custom DSDT.aml and its getting overridden. My dmesg output: ... FreeBSD 5.2-RELEASE #0 ... Preloaded acpi_dsdt "/boot/DSDT.aml" at 0xc0a613f4. Preloaded elf module "/boot/kernel/acpi.ko" at 0xc0a61438. ... ACPI: DSDT was overridden. ACPI-0375: *** Info: Table [DSDT] replaced by host OS I have more details about this install at: http://ravenmore.com/gnawededges/pc/freebsd.html and my modified DSDT code is here: http://ravenmore.com/gnawededges/pc/my_gateway400sd4.asl How do I get FreeBSD to load my modified DSDT without being overridden? Any suggestions welcome. Thanks! __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! Small Business $15K Web Design Giveaway http://promotions.yahoo.com/design_giveaway/
