It was inspired as a replacement for * xcolorsel that offers a wider band of colors to pick from. I first thought this should go to x11 (alongside xcolors and xcolorsel) but I see that this is more than a color picker for X. However, you may want to add x11 to the category list so people looking in that category will also see it and not only xcolors/xcolorsel.
