It does exactly the same for me, fresh 5.0-RELEASE installation with
XFree86 4.2.1 and latest pre-freeze GNOME2.

I solved it by installing linux Acrobat Reader

Tri zakladni pravidla knihovniku casu a prostoru zneji: 1) Ticho.
2) Kniha nesmi byt vracena pozdeji, nez urcuje datum na vypujcni karte.
3) Nikdo se nesmi vmesovat do zakladniho vzorce pricinnych souvislosti. (S!S!)
