There aren't any lockup conditions I'm aware of in the 5.0.14 driver, but
there are lockup conditions with Netscape and X (actually, in the TCP/IP
subsystem) of 2.0.33. I would recommend trying the 2.0.34pre15 patch and
the aic7xxx-5.0.15 patch and see if the problems go away. You can get the
2.0.34pre15 patch from ftp.uk.linux.org:/pub/linux/alan/2.0.34pre or from
http://linux.dialnet.net/LMP and you can get the 5.0.15 aic7xxx patch
specifically for 2.0.34pre15 from
ftp.dialnet.net:/pub/linux/aic7xxx/2.0.34pre15
