Hi all,

Info ONLY!

Installing from 3.5" FD is possible with 2.0.5-R without
Boot-Floppies in the following way:

- write the image of the 5.25" Bootfloppy of an normal
  HD formatted 3.5" FD with dd, like

  dd if=boot.flp of=/dev/rfd0.1200 bs=1200k

- change the FD-Type in the Bios-Setup of the PC on which
  You will install FreeBSD 2.0.5-RELEASE

- Boot from this *special* Floppy Disk

- Install the rest of FreeBSD Distr. from Net, Tape, ....

- correct the Bios Setup to 1.44-FD to the time of the
  next reboot
