Without Compiz enabled the sounds effects work as expected. Howe= ver with Compiz enabled the sound effects do not play through the speakers. The procedure to reproduce is the same except Compiz needs to be enabled. If t= he developer does not have the environment to reproduce I would be happy to te= st patches.
