I tried updating my sources last night and today, and when I boot those kernels as soon as I move the mouse the first time it drops to the bottom of the screen and then I cannot move it any longer. If this is a situation where I need to install the userland stuff to match the kernel then I'm happy to do that, but if so there should be something in src/UPDATING. Following the typical method of installing and booting the new kernel first in -current gives the results I described above, so I'm loathe to install userland till I know it's going to work.
