The last time I mentioned I use Intel CPUs exclusively it started a religious war :)
Anyway the reason is quite simple ... the things have never given me trouble &
AMDs / IDTs have been responsible for more weird "features" than I can count.
I don't give a rats about "philosophy" .... either something gives the results I want
with a minimum of aggro (in which case I'll use it) or it doesn't (in which case I won't
se it) eg I have a few Win2K systems that I've found infinitely superior in terms of
usability & reliability to any linux I've used / if I want a GUI unix I'll use Solaris &
CDE in preference to XFree & KDE etc etc ....... some do the job and some are
dogs. FreeBSD (sans X) happens to do what I want as a webserver or gateway ...
I don't use it for other purposes because it doesn't meet my requirements

  Hmm...
If you have an Intel processor you SHOULD be using Winodws.. that is if you subscribe to Bill Gates way of thinking. But, I can guess that isn't very popular here. *grin*

As far as I'm aware MSIE is only available for SPARC Solaris, NOT x86 / Intel
Unless thats changed since last time I looked it won't work
