I am having aproblem getting lp (& lpr) to work. I can print by su-ing to
root and cat-ting to the device /dev/lpt0 (an HP-4 with postscript), but
lp (and lpr) just give me balnk pages.
My printcap file (/etc/printcap) is:
# @(#)printcap 5.3 (Berkeley) 6/30/90
lp|local line printer:\
:lp=/dev/lpt0:sd=/var/spool/output/lpd:lf=/var/log/lpd-errs:
#lp|local line printer:\
# :lp=/dev/lp:sd=/var/spool/output/lpd:lf=/var/log/lpd-errs:
All of the directories and file for this printcap file exist.
What am I doing wrong?
