This machine already has an internl modem of 2400 baud. I want to put a new one most prob an external modem of higher speed w/o removing the old one. I am thinking of connecting it to one of the serial ports. So what are the kind of modems with which FreeBSD will work w/o much hassle and can we configure this modem by playing around with the serial port settings.
