I'm a bit rusty with all of this, so forgive me if I go about this the wrong way. I did a quick build of the mathopd port with WITH_PIE=3Dyes on a -CURRENT snapshot and did not see anything wrong. Looking at the build log, it appears that the binaries are linked with "-pi= e".
