Gustavo:

I bought FreeBSD with the book "The Complete FreeBSD" by Greg Lehey.  It 
has 4 CD ROMs.  You can't go wrong using FreeBSD.  I like it over all the 
rest, Linux, etc.  Everything worked the first time, mouse, X windows, 
PPP, dialins, etc.
