BTW, I've been working on the port since May 2. It's amazing that you've managed to port it without the upstream fixes I've been waiting for. Anyway, here's a link to the issue on Bugzilla which links to my version of the port (you might be willing to incorporate some of the work I've done). There is a link to an issue I opened upstream.
