By doing so thou, you will slow > your system down quite conciderably, so be prepared for it. I was having similar problems with an overclocked cpu, a 233mmx pentium (3.5@66) set to 250 (2.5@100). I set it back to 233 and have completed several make buildworlds without a hitch.
