The machine in question is placed in a remote, somewhat inaccesible location and seemed happy in staying up, so I didn't have a big opportunity of testing things in a jiffy. The symptoms are still there in an unpatched FreeBSD 2.2.7-STABLE #0: Thu Aug 27 22:07:28 CEST 1998 system. The patches helped though. Is this something that could be commited and turned on with a kernel option? Thank you very much for your help Best regards, Are Bryne On Sun, 24 Aug 1997, Joerg Wunsch wrote: > Synopsis: Consistent 10 min. delay at boot with REL-2.2.1 on Pentium > > State-Changed-From-To: open-feedback > State-Changed-By: joerg > State-Changed-When: Sun Aug 24 20:29:18 MEST 1997 > State-Changed-Why: > > Please tell us whether Bruce's suggestion did help you or not. > Communiqué DA Phone: +47 22 44 33 99 Parkveien 51b E-mail: admin@communique.no N-0256 Oslo URL: http://www.communique.no To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-bugs" in the body of the message
