Buy a better moniter/mounse/keyboard switch. PS/2 mice have state information on both sides of the cable; unless you have a high-grade switch (that deals with these issues), the mouse will get out of sync. Keyboards don't have that problem - using two mice works. Personally, I just use a moniter switch, as that's what eats the space on the desktop.
