Message-ID: MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: TEXT/PLAIN; charset=US-ASCII Sender: owner-freebsd-mobile@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk X-Loop: FreeBSD.org Hi! all:) After trying so many times to use Realtek Cardbus PC Network CARD but fails, (when I add in the cardbus support in the kernel, it panics)I decide to buy a D-Link DFE-650 card, which is included in pccard.conf of 5.0-current. But when I try to use the new card on my notebook, I have a "ed1: device timeout" error every time I want to do some operation on the card(ex. setting IP). My card is stated to be "Rev D1", which is not supported by Japanese FreeBSD group's PAO package. (But other DFE-650s can work!! why????) Does anyone have any ideas about why my card just can't works? Please help me^__^. I bought this card "only for using net in FreeBSD on my notebook".(Because I already have another PCMCIA NIC which can work in Linux and Windows - Realtek 8139 CardBus). Thanks in advanced.
