I'm also running portsentry to log security violations. In the Netherlands the adsl connection is provided by MxStream where originally the adsl-modem uses PPTP. A few days ago I "tweaked" the modem from the "home-version" to the "pro-version" and now I don't have to use PPTP anymore but the connections run via PPP and the modem is used as a router. The connection whith the provider is now done by the modem and not by software (PPTP). Everything is running great but since that time, every moment when fetchmail gets my mail, I get tons of messages in /var/log/messages as shown below. Does ayone knows what is going on, and how to get rid of these messages? Regards, Marco Security Violations =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Oct 12 02:05:31 localhost sendmail[14166]: CAA14166: ruleset=check_mail, arg1=, relay=localhost.net [127.0.0.1], reject=451 ...
