I'm looking for a PCI, three channel U2W-LVD SCSI-SCSI RAID 5 controller for our serverbox running FreeBSD 3.4-STABLE. Does anybody know what kind of RAID 5 controller FBSD 3.4 supports? When looking for Linux supported RAID 5 controller I found a lot of informations, but looking for supported controller by FreeBSD was horribly less than a few! Is RAID 5 for FreeBSD a kind of strange? I do not look for the cheapest solution, I want to purchase a solution that makes sense. Can anybody help please? Please email me if you have experiences with fast, good PCI U2W RAID 5 controller for FreeBSD! Thanks in advance, O. Hartmann Gruss O.
