You should dirrm(try) all files/directories not listed in MTREE_FILE (this
might be bsd.local.dist or bsd.x11.dist - check `make -V MTREE_FILE` output=
).

You should not delete any directories not created by you.

It's very important for ports to be plist-clean (i.e. deinstall all
files it creates and don't make damage to filesystem), as much efforts
was payed to keep entire ports collection plist-clean. Some ports
may fail because they might rely on e.g. en_GB existent.
