Rob. Ok, I tried about 10 times but the results are the same. I tried mounting the CD on several occasions between re-inserting the media and was able to mount it every time. Of course I allowed for at least 30 secs to settle down between removals, re-inserts, mounts and burncds. Doesn't the "ILLEGAL REQUEST" mean that a certain command is not understood by the hardware at all?
