The following reply was made to PR ports/71074; it has been noted by GNATS. From: Kay Lehmann <kay_lehmann@web.de> To: Sergey Matveychuk <sem@FreeBSD.org> Cc: FreeBSD gnats submit <FreeBSD-gnats-submit@FreeBSD.org> Subject: Re: ports/71074: [Maintainer Update] sysutils/kdar: Update to version 1.2.0 Date: Sun, 29 Aug 2004 10:28:54 +0200 Hello, sorry but as I wrote in the pr I don't have any 5.3-Beta system and there is no option for me to get one before the portstree gets frozen. I contacted the author because of this problem, but he just told me that he isn't using gcc >=3.4. So I think we need to mark it broken till I have 5.3 up and running to work on it. But maybe we can update it for all the other users who have a 4-stable system. What should be definitly done before portstree freeze ist, to commit the changes to description-file to honor the author for his work. So I'm sorry I can't do this work before portstree is frozen.
