I run xntpd and I have to do: ``tickadj -t 9999'' to get lock on
my pentiums.

This is suspicious because one has to do this on some Suns and
it turns out that it is due to a bug in Sunos misprogramming
a clock chip.  I wonder if there is a similar bug in FreeBSD
for pentiums?
