Hi,
I have a simple question: I want to install
FreeBSD but I have one of those unsupported
CD-ROM drivers, namely the NEC 28B CD-ROM
and the Toshiba Xm5602B CD-ROM. Is there
any way I can still make my CD-ROM work
with FreeBSD?
Also, if I buy one of the newer, unsupported
video cards, what can I do to make X-Windows
work? I mean, the new card won't be available
in the X-Win database list. What can I do?
Thanks in advance. Please e-mail me
directly. Appreciate the time!

Shan-Min
