Hi, I was wondering if anyone had had any luck running Sybase 11.9.2 (Redhat RPMs) on -STABLE using the linux compatibility mode. I was trying to get this working tonight but the srvbuild fails when it goes to create the master device. The relevant excerpt from the srvbuild log is: ------------- Sat Jan 5 19:32:38 2002: (Shell command) /opt/sybase-11.9.2/bin/buildmaster -d /opt/sybase/data/master_db -s 30720 > /tmp/sbtEwDIL 2>&1 Master device: /opt/sybase/data/master_db Buildmaster: Could not lock device "/opt/sybase/data/master_db".
