I copied the three files to /usr/ports/distfiles/staroffice52 and did 'make', followed by 'make install' to set up the network install. After the net install the user installation instructions will be displayed. It ran without a hitch. I performed all steps as root from within a XWindow session. I'm running FreeBSD 4.3 stable on an 900 MHz AMD Thunderbird system with 768 Mb RAM and over 28Gb of empty hard drive space. I edited the Makefile to include the statement 'WITH_CD=yes' and mounted the CD to /cdrom. The path /cdrom/linux/office52 exists; and executing 'ls /cdrom/linux/office52' displays the directory's contents. Linux emulation is enabled and running. When trying to 'make install', however, I keep getting the message 'Please mount the Sun StarOffice 5.2 CDROM onto /cdrom and run make again.' followed by 7 repetitions of '***Error code 1 Stop in /usr/ports/editors/staroffice52.' Are there other steps that I should be taking? Thanks, Andrew Gould __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Make international calls for as low as $.04/minute with Yahoo!
