I have Linux emulation, and had installed linux-base 6.1 from the ports collection. After modifying the install script to accept FreeBSD as a Linux architecture, the installation went thru fine ( its Perl scripts ). Again modifying the startup script to accept FreeBSD as a Linux OS, running "http httpsetup" as per the installation instructions gave the error "error: Notes error : 0x19E" Searching thru FreeBSD's archives, Notes fourm, DejaNews archives reviews no solution or explanation. Not willing to give up so easily, I copied wholesale, = first Redhat 6.2's files into /compat/linux, = then Redhat 6.0's files into /compat/linux, = all fruitless attempt. Finally, I did a ktrace, "ktrace http httpsetup", and found the = following which I thought could be a clue, but I don't have any clue to proceed, so I am here asking for help, anything. The following is the last portion of the kdump output: I also attached a gzip-ed ktrace. Hoped I provided all the info needed ( and written to the right forum ). = Thanks in advance for any help. ------------- 25934 http CALL #91(0x28ec9000,0x2000) 25934 http RET #91 0 25934 http CALL getrusage(0x17,0xf8b0d800,0x4458ac,0x7b0,0) 25934 http RET getrusage -1 errno -22 Unknown error: -22 25934 http CALL getrusage(0x17,0xf8b0d800,0x4458ac,0x3b0,0) 25934 http RET getrusage -1 errno -22 Unknown error: -22 25934 http CALL old.sigvec(0x1,0xbfbff1ec) 25934 http RET old.sigvec 0 25934 http CALL dup2(0xbfbff250) 25934 http RET dup2 686592000/0x28ec9000 25934 http CALL ioctl(0x1,0x5401 ,0xbfbff1e8) 25934 http RET ioctl 0 25934 http CALL write(0x1,0x28ec9000,0x2) 25934 http GIO fd 1 wrote 2 bytes "\r " 25934 http RET write 2 25934 http CALL write(0x1,0x28ec9000,0x1c) 25934 http GIO fd 1 wrote 28 bytes "Lotus Notes: error 0x19E\r \r " 25934 http RET write 28/0x1c 25934 http CALL #91(0x28ec9000,0x2000) 25934 http RET #91 0 25934 http CALL exit(0xffffffff) ------------- Regards, /LJ ____________________________________________________________________ Get free email and a permanent address at http://www.netaddress.com/?N=3D= 1 To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-stable" in the body of the message
