About the Xorg process eating one CPU and filling its log with modelines, someone else had it. He solved the problem by using an older DDX (xf86-video-ati 7.1.0 instead of 7.2.0). Here's a modified port to install version 7.1.0: http://people.freebsd.org/~dumbbell/radeonkms/port-xf86-video-ati-7.1.0.t= ar.gz Can you try it, please? The archive contains the equivalent of /usr/ports/x11-drivers/xf86-video-ati. You can unpack it anywhere and run make all deinstall reinstall clean. --=20 Jean-S=C3=A9bastien P=C3=A9dron --abrQfxR3Tov8NtoEmav2xhxe4m8SOsIw3 Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" Content-Description: OpenPGP digital signature Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="signature.asc" -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.22 (FreeBSD) Comment: Using GnuPG with Thunderbird - http://www.enigmail.net/ iEYEARECAAYFAlJ8wnAACgkQa+xGJsFYOlM/vwCgooojhacoM4ZWjkRKN04nIKJu eVUAnRV5rh4MVxrMabiAllUUCpTEb/LL =E4uY -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --abrQfxR3Tov8NtoEmav2xhxe4m8SOsIw3--
