    I'm using freebsd = 4.0-release=20 and encountering a problem when trying to configure my pnp 56k modem. It = is not=20 a winmodem as I have had it working under fbsd 3.4 and versions of = Linux,=20 however, when I boot if the modem is found, which is rare, I can not get = it to=20 dial or to do ppp. Help appreciated.
