I've explicity asked the server to allow your host(s). If I had not added the following rules, I wouldn't have asked again, honestly! #more /etc/hosts | grep de sendmail : 213.198.55.73 : allow # softmaker.de (verio.de) sendmail : 213.198.55.74 : allow # (verio.de) sendmail : gmx.de : allow sendmail : softmaker.de : allow sendmail : info@softmaker.de : allow sendmail : martin-k@softmaker.de : allow sendmail : 213.165.64.100 : allow # gmx.de ELLI SCHULZ, MARTIN KOTULLA.... There are statements in the above file that block most of 213.x.x.x, but they are *below* the lines above. Unless the ACL is parsed "bottom up" instead of "top down", I don't understand why this is still happening. However, you're quite right in saying it is. #grep verio.de /var/log/maillog Dec 16 08:31:19 ezekiel sm-mta[33149]: hBGEVJUo033149: tcpwrappers (mail08b.verio.de, 213.198.55.74) rejection Anybody know why Martin can't talk to my server?
